Member Appreciation
The Christmas Gun Raffle was held on January 14, 2025, at The El Paso Elks Lodge No. 187 in El Paso, Texas, during the monthly Union meeting. All Union Members (in good standing) were eligible and one lucky member was selected from each of the following stations: ALA, CTX, DMN, EHF (support staff only), EPS, FHT, LAS, LOB, STN and YST.
Congratulations to those lucky members who won a gift certificate for a Law Enforcement Glock Package (any model) with their choice of 1 of 2 options to include: night sights or attachment optics!
The list of winners was sent out through the local’s e-mail contact list so if you have not received your prize, please click here (Contact Local 1929 – National Border Patrol Council) to reach out to your Treasurer, Lela Gooden, in order to make arrangements to facilitate that transfer.
In addition to that, every station was given a contribution by the Union to show our immense appreciation for everything that you, the members of the Local 1929, do throughout the year.
We would like to express our most sincere gratitude to the local stations MWR’s who collaborated with us and any other people who pitched in with their time and effort to help us make something special happen for you.
